Wired Academy At La Playa Dayclub

Fort Lauderdale, FL. - Join us at La Playa Dayclub on Saturday, September 24, 2022, between 11am and 10pm, as they open their stage and our ears to Wired Academy students and a very special guest for our monthly Wired Sound Academy Takeover.
Now in its fourth month, passionate, and motivated music students from Wired Sound Academy are continuing to develop right here in Fort Lauderdale, and beach goers are loving it! Wired Sound Academy is known in the area for being fully dedicated to teaching the essential skills needed to build a successful career in the music industry and offering real-life opportunities for hands-on learning. “It takes support from the community to get an artist off the ground,” says Crespo, Co-Founder of Wired Music Academy. “So we are very thankful for La Playa Dayclub for continuing to partner with us and allowing us to showcase our students each month.”
La Playa Dayclub, a new luxury day club concept that sits right on the shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach, is quickly becoming the home for house music fans and artists. With legendary artists like EDX, Art Department, and Boris playing their treehouse, this club is growing in popularity every week. “Music and community are two essential parts of the La Playa Dayclub experience,'' says Jason Shaw, CEO of Round Table Marketing Group. “So although we do book big headliners, it is also very important for us to cultivate artists from right here in our community. This is why we are thrilled to be working with this incredible team and their students. We are happy to offer a start on what is to be some major musical careers.”
Added to the event this month is a new special guest featured spot, which will allow students to play the same stage as artists they admire. This month, Wired Sound Academy booked CakeWalk, a Boston-based artist who, in his own words, “likes to make people boogie.” Known for his wild shows and his groovy online mixes, CakeWalk can now be found gracing the stages of some of the biggest festivals, including his most recent festival, the Elements Music & Arts Festival.
The full-day event is curated by head instructor Dallas Calles, also known as DCAL. He has worked with students of all ages, day in and day out, helping them to learn equipment, master the art of musical set design and the basics of artist development. “Our artists [students] look forward to this event every month,” says Calles. “They come to class eager to talk about their set and excited to practice for an upcoming gig.”
Other artists to take the stage this weekend are Bobby Nastro, DJ Dat, MADPARK, Vince Prevail and Groove Baby.
