Seagrass Tent At Fort Lauderdale Beach

Fort Lauderdale, FL. - On Sunday, October 2, 2022, La Playa Dayclub will host its monthly Soul Care Sunday with the support of Lola Label, a full mind, body, soul fashion platform, and Seagrass Clothing Company, a local business dedicated to hands-on marine conservation efforts.
Soul Care Sunday is a day of fun for those over 21. Kicking off with a free, 1-hour yoga class at 10am to allow attendees to awaken the mind, body, and soul to the sounds of the sea. Guests should bring their own yoga mat or towel and will meet directly outside La Playa Dayclub, located at 600 Seabreeze Blvd., on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
“I truly believe in the healing of our ocean and protecting it from harm,” says Lola the Founder of Lola Label. “This movement we are creating with the beach clean-up is a way that we can give back to the ocean and our beautiful beach. The intention of the yoga class prior to the clean-up is so we can begin to connect with Mother Nature.”
Directly following yoga, led by Lola and well-known local yogi Nicole Samanez, guests are invited to join in a beach clean-up hosted by SeaGrass Clothing Company. “It is important for us to come together as a community, to protect our local environments,” says SeaGrass Clothing Company Co-Founder, Christian Halliday. “We make it easy; we provide everything for you. Just show up and show some love to one of the world's most beautiful ecosystems.”
The beach cleanup takes place from 11am - 1pm directly outside of La Playa Dayclub near the main Fort Lauderdale Beach parking lot. Participants will meet at the Seagrass tent, where all materials, including gloves, bags, buckets, and water, will be provided. As a special thank you to those participating in our beach cleanup, La Playa Dayclub will offer all those 21+ free admission to their day club and a free refreshing beverage to unwind after a job well done.
“This is one of our favorite events,” says Brando Garcia, Manager of La Playa Dayclub. “They have been going on for several months and the crowds and participation have been great. This day really just turns into a positive and fun afternoon, as La Playa fills up with like-minded, community-focused individuals who also love great music and drinks.”
For those who want to skip over the yoga and beach clean-up and head right to the day club, La Playa will open at 11am, so guests can vibe to the funky house music grooves of the La Playa Vibe Creators David Facada, White Rice, and our resident DJ, Mike Antix.
Can’t make it on Sunday, October 2nd? They do offer these monthly, with the following events happening on Sunday, November 13, 2022, Sunday, December 4, 2022, and Sunday, January 8, 2023.
